TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The following terms and conditions apply to all persons, staff and volunteers attending the Warbirds over Scone event. 

GENERAL

  1. All correspondence in regard to the event should be made to Australian Airshows at contact@australianairshows.com.au

  2. Tickets may not be refunded, returned or exchanged after purchase except as required by law. In the event of poor weather the programme may be modified to ensure safety of exhibitors and patrons.

  3. The right is reserved to vary advertised programmes and to add, withdraw, substitute and reschedule performances as necessary.

  4. The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the responsible service of alcohol legislation.

  5. The use of cameras and recording equipment is encouraged at this event.

  6. It may be a condition of entry that a search of persons and/or possessions will be required at the time of entry.

  7. Where tickets are purchased with a concession, the document relied upon for that concession must be presented at the time of purchase and must be carried at all times when in attendance at the event.

  8. Alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the event, drinks can be purchased in approved areas. Attendees over the age of 18 who wish to consume alcohol must carry valid photo ID.

  9. Gold Pass is a licensed area. Anyone under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.
  10. You are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and camping chairs to the event.

  11. We recommend you bring bottled water. Water will be available onsite

  12. Camping will not be allowed at the airport.

  13. There will be no pets allowed.

  14. Patrons are encouraged to use bicycles as a means of transport to the airport using the bike track from Scone however bicycles are not permitted onsite at the airport. All bicycles should be secured offsite.

  15. The organisers do not take any responsibility for the loss of personal property.

  16. Drones or other unmanned aerial vehicles are not allowed under any circumstances.

  17. Persons, vehicles, aircraft and containers are not permitted to enter the Event site (or carparks) with any prohibited items. *See below

  18. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of Scone airport.

  19. All persons admitted to the airshow site or car parks are advised that airshows include elements of danger and risk of injury. The approvals required by the applicable authorities have been obtained for the staging of the Air Show and such precautions as are reasonably appropriate will be taken to minimise risk to those in attendance. It is a condition of entry that all persons attending the event do so accepting that all risks cannot be eliminated.

  20. The Organisers do not accept responsibility for any negligent acts or omissions by performers, display participants, spectators, visitors, exhibitors, caterers, contractors, suppliers or persons other than the Organisers, their officials, staff or agents.

  21. The Organisers collect personal information about attendees at the Event which is necessary for them to operate the event and to help promote the event and subsequent or related or similar events. In particular, the Organiser may collect the name, address and phone number of attendees for the purposes of coordinating the seating and/or viewing arrangements at the Event and of conducting research, marketing and promotional activities in relation to the Event and such other subsequent events.

  22. Attendees hereby consent to the use and disclosure of their personal information by the Organisers for marketing and promotional purposes unless the attendee otherwise notifies the Organisers.

  23. Unless attendees advise otherwise, attendees consent to receiving future promotional and marketing material from the Organisers, including via electronic messages (e.g. email, SMS etc), and telephoning attendees for an indefinite period.

  24. Attendees hereby consent to the fact that they may be photographed at this event and the subsequent photograph(s) may be used for marketing of future events or used on social media.

*Prohibited items include:

  • Flammable materials and substances, explosives, pyrotechnics, weapons (including replica and toy firearms), projectiles and similar devices;

  • Placards, flags, banners, signs, brochures and leaflets;

  • Megaphones, amplifiers, loud speakers, lights and lasers;

  • Paints, chemicals, spray cans, painting apparatus and equipment;

  • Scooters, golf carts and items of personal conveyance (other than wheelchairs for use by disabled persons);

  • Stoves, barbecues and cooking equipment;

  • Tents, structures or shelters

  • Shade and/or beach umbrellas which, in the opinion of the Organisers, have or may have the potential to cause damage, injury, hazard, danger, disruption, public nuisance, offence, distress, public inconvenience or security risk.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SPITFIRE FLIGHT GIVEAWAY

Warbirds Over Scone “Win a Flight in a Two-Seat Spitfire” Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Australian Airshows Pty Ltd, ABN 74 648 975 446, trading as Warbirds Over Scone (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter or its associated agencies are not eligible to enter.
  • Entrants must be medically fit to fly in accordance with the operator’s passenger requirements. The winner will be subject to meeting the operator’s health, age, and weight restrictions.
  • The practical weight limit for this flight is approximately 108kg
  • The practical height limit for this flight is approximately 198cm

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, individuals must purchase an Early Bird Ticket to the 2026 Warbirds Over Scone Airshow between June 27th, 2025 and September 8th, 2025 via the official ticketing platform.
  • Each Early Bird Ticket purchase counts as one (1) automatic entry into the competition.
  • Multiple entries are permitted – one entry per Early Bird Ticket purchased.

4. Prize Details

  • The prize is one (1) flight experience in a two-seat Spitfire aircraft, valued at approximately AUD $7000, operated by a licensed provider appointed by the Promoter.
  • The prize includes:
    • Pre-flight briefing and safety induction.
    • A flight experience of approximately 20 minutes.
    • Photo opportunity post-flight.
  • The flight will be conducted at a location and date determined by the flight operator in consultation with the winner.
  • Travel to and from the flight location is not included and is the responsibility of the winner.

5. Prize Conditions

  • The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
  • The prize is subject to weather conditions, aircraft availability, and any regulatory approvals.
  • Should the winner be deemed medically unfit or fail to meet operational requirements, the prize will be forfeited, and a redraw may occur at the Promoter’s discretion.
  • The practical weight limit for this flight is approximately 108kg
  • The practical height limit for this flight is approximately 198cm

6. Draw and Winner Notification

  • The draw will take place at Scone Airport, NSW on 9th September using a random selection method.
  • The winner will be notified via email or phone within 3 business days of the draw.
  • The winner’s name will be published on the official Warbirds Over Scone website and social media platforms.

7. Unclaimed Prize

  • If the prize is unclaimed within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.

8. Liability

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment incurred by the winner in connection with the prize, except as required by law.
  • The flight is conducted under the operational control of the appointed flight provider. The Promoter is not liable for the conduct of the flight or any related matters beyond its control.

9. Privacy

  • By entering, entrants agree that their personal information may be used by the Promoter for the purposes of conducting the competition and for promotional purposes related to Warbirds Over Scone in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

10. General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its control require it to do so.
  • Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – MUSTANG FLIGHT GIVEAWAY

Warbirds Over Scone “Win a Flight in a Mustang” Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Australian Airshows Pty Ltd, ABN 74 648 975 446, trading as Warbirds Over Scone (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter or its associated agencies are not eligible to enter.
  • Entrants must be medically fit to fly in accordance with the operator’s passenger requirements. The winner will be subject to meeting the operator’s health, age, and weight restrictions.
  • The practical weight limit for this flight is approximately 125kg
  • The practical height limit for this flight is approximately 187cm

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, individuals must purchase an Online Ticket to the 2026 Warbirds Over Scone Airshow between June 27th, 2025 and December 26th, 2025 via the official ticketing platform.
  • An Online Ticket purchase counts as one (1) automatic entry into the competition.
  • Multiple entries are permitted – one entry per Online Ticket purchased.

4. Prize Details

  • The prize is one (1) flight experience in a two-seat Mustang aircraft, valued at approximately AUD $2550, operated by a licensed provider appointed by the Promoter.
  • The prize includes:
    • Pre-flight briefing and safety induction.
    • A flight experience of approximately 20 minutes.
    • Photo opportunity post-flight.
  • The flight will be conducted at a location and date determined by the flight operator in consultation with the winner.
  • Travel to and from the flight location is not included and is the responsibility of the winner.
